The current status of Korean helicopter industry and Korean Helicopter Program (KHP) will be discussed in general aspects. Furthermore, advanced helicopter technology developments will also be discussed in the areas of performance, active controls, structures, and aerodynamics, including UAVs and MAVs.
Many new technical developments have been investigated by researchers in past few years and these developments will be discussed in terms of technical advantages and disadvantages. Particularly, innovative concepts of MAVs have been developments and some fundamental aerodynamic issues with these developments will be discussed.
