Abstract
This
paper aims to propose a learning algorithm to find out the consistent and
complete hypothesis incrementally, when a training data set for a concept is
given. The hypothesis is represented by the network structure, in which the
nodes for a hypothesis can be used as features for learning of other concepts
efficiently. The proposed learning algorithm consists of the network changes
which can select and use the nodes in the network as features explicitly. With
the proposed algorithm, it is theoretically shown that the consistent and
complete hypothesis can be learned from given data set, always. It is also
shown thorough experiments that learning performance of the proposed algorithm
can be improved as more concepts are learned.
