Ubiquitous Security and Privacy

Abstract

 

In this presentation, I will first give the fundamental issues and technologies of information security The I will discuss traditional computing technologies which can be applied in ubiquitous security and privacy issues. Included are discussion of the survivability as in an information infrastructure, the intrusion tolerance approaches, and the concept of the community computing and the mixnet for anonymity. Finally, I will give an overview of our project related with those issues.

Manpyo Hong: Manpyo Hong is a Professor in the Division of Information and Computer Engineering at Ajou University. His current research interests are Information Security

 

He received a BS, MS and PhD degree from the Department of Computer Science, Seoul National University, in 1981, 1983 and 1991 respectively
