Abstract

In this presentation, I will explain on ITRC(Information Technology Research Center) for Embedded Software Development Environment which is one of the government sponsored research project and supported by 7 new driving technologies development program for the next 10 years of Korean IT industries.

Short Biography

Kee Wook Rim: Kee Wook Rim is a Professor in the Department of Computer and Information Science at Sun Moon University. His current research interests are in embedded database systems, operating systems, and computer systems architecture.

Before he joined the faculty of Sun Moon University in 2000, he was a principal research engineer in ETRI for about 20 years and he had developed Korean first Midrange Computer Systems which is called TICOM Series by government project for about 10 years. He also took in charge Vice President in Computer and Software Laboratories of ETRI from July 2001 to February 2003. He was a visiting scientist at the U.C.Irvine from 1988 to 1989. He received a BS degree from the Department of Electronics, Inha University, in 1977; an MS degree from the Department of Computer Engineering, Han Yang University, in 1987; and a Ph.D degree from the Department of Computer Science, Inha University , in 1994.
