Abstract
In this presentation,
I will begin with the concept of spatial database cluster system for fulfilling
the new demands. Then, I will discuss how Online Scaling is carried out and
also propose the methods to keep the system fault tolerant. I will then talk
about the role of a Database Server in Ubiquitous Environment. The Ubiquitous
Platform schematic is then overviewed. Finally, I will take an example of an
application environment to explain about the extensibility of the integrated
system.
