Bus

It is possible to go from Santa Ana Airport to UC Irvine by bus. Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) buses, Routes 76 and 470, service John Wayne Airport. The OCTA bus stop is located on the arrival (lower) level outside of Terminal B. Route 470 takes you directly to the University Center located near the heart of the UCI campus. Unfortunately this route is only operational during parts of the day (see timetable). Another option is to take route 76 (direction Newport Beach), stop at the intersection of Macarthur Blvd. and Birch St., and from there take route 178 towards Irvine, stop at University Center on Campus Drive.
